Every episode focuses on one specific hijacking, such as the June 14 1985 hijacking of TWA flight 847 by the Lebanese militia group Hezbollah, a hijacking that took weeks to resolve, as well as the story of the mass hijacking of five passenger jets by Palestinian militants during September 1970, which escalated to the point that a plane full of British schoolchildren was taken to the Jordanian desert.
