Seven untrained students meet their chef/mentors and cook them their personality on a plate. After realising how much hard work it is, Amanda questions whether she has what it takes.

The students must start from the bottom up, learning how to survive the fast paced diner environment, and a new student arrives and the rest of the house wonder if Amanda is gone for good.

The students are coached on knife skills, and cooking with four types of heat.

The students learn about flavour profiles where they must use the five tastes in a challenge. Tension soars when the house is divided, a food fight ensues, and the house turns on Harrison.

The students learn how to cook the perfect medium rare steak, and Harrison tries to earn his way back in to the house after his blow up.

The students compete in a seafood challenge. What they don't know is they will be paired with some of their least favourite house mates, and Suki and Will's friendship starts to fracture.
