Inside the Steam Train Museum

Going behind the scenes at Bressingham Steam Museum as staff and volunteers keep the wheels turning in the museum's 60th anniversary year. To celebrate the anniversary, the museum is preparing for a steam gala event.

The roof of the gallopers roundabout is replaced and the organ repaired before the start of the open season, and volunteer Mark takes his miniature traction engine out on a road run.

Engineer Brian has to repaint an engine ahead of a steampunk event where bizarre costumes and unusual activities will descend upon the museum for a day of Victorian retro-futurism.

The volunteers clear up damage after a storm, and the fire engine has its engine removed.
