Mateo is a normal boy who realises that he must assert himself as the defender of dreams against the machinations of the Nightmare King. Creatures from dreams begin crossing into the real world and blur the borders of imagination and reality.

Awakening
Mateo and his sister discover that the Dream World is real and under threat after Mateo's comic creation Z-Blob, follows him from a dream back to Brooklyn.
EPISODE 2
Dream Chasers
In a bold quest to rescue their friend from the Dream World, Mateo and Izzie discover the nightmare has followed them back to the Waking World.
EPISODE 3
Chased Dreamers
To earn the title of official Dream Chasers for the Night Bureau and craft their own hourglasses, Mateo and his friends must defeat the Dream Forge guardian.
EPISODE 4
The Dream Forge
Mateo and his friends start running out of time to face the Dream Forge and become official Dream Chasers, so they enlist the help of the Dream Bandit. Mr Oz and Albert defend the forge from a grimspawn onslaught.
EPISODE 5
Peak Performance
Mateo and the others arrive at the tallest mountain in the Dream World as they continue their search for the Sandman, but Lunia's hourglass puts a target on their backs.
EPISODE 6
The Anomaly
A surprise visit from the chief inspector of the Night Bureau forces Mateo to hide Z-Blob, who goes on an adventure in the heart of Brooklyn.
