Les Petits Muertres D'Agatha Christie
Murder stalks the halls of a swanky boarding school. The case requires absolute discretion, but as Superintendent Larosière and Inspector Lampion dig deeper, disturbing facts come to light.
A group of women are gathered for an exclusive weekend retreat devoted to political causes. When the wealthy hostess is found dead, Larosière must find a way to get inside. That requires Lampion to go undercover in a way he never expected.
Lampion gets a lead on a 15-year-old case after leaving to a join a private investigation firm.
Superintendent Larosière reunites with his former captain from the Great War, who invites him to his family castle for a big announcement.
Larosière wakes up with a wicked hangover, a dead prostitute in his bed, and no memory of what happened the night before. Finding himself the prime suspect, the master detective goes on the run as he struggles to clear his name.
Dr Bousquet runs a rehabilitation centre where thugs, mental health patients and other offenders rub shoulders - an environment that worries the doctor's relatives. Soon, two murders are committed, and the patients are suspected. But ultimately, perhaps it isn't the patients who are the most dangerous.
A movie star commits suicide in the middle of filming. Superintendent Laurence decides to spend a bit more time looking at the life of the actress: she was beautiful, rich, famous, adored by men and hated by women. So many motives for murder.
Two murders and two unusual witnesses: a dog and ghosts! A case that is not to the liking of Superintendent Laurence, especially since his mother, the whimsical Alexina, decides to get involved in the investigation. Worse, she has taken a liking to Alice, who would make an ideal daughter-in-law.
