For every species on Earth, surviving infancy presents some of the biggest challenges of all. This film explores the strategies that different animals in Africa use to help them overcome the dangers that face them, when theyre at their most vulnerable.
If young animals survive until adulthood, the chances for survival are greatly increased - but many challenges face them before they can strike out on their own. There are many hurdles along the way, but every small success could mean the difference between life and death.
Finally in this journey, after producing many offspring, some animals will make it to old age. This is no mean feat in the wilds of Africa. And when death comes, the story doesnt end there, as new life begins. This is the full circle of life for Luangwas wild residents.
