Manchester City approached the 2013/14 campaign determined to win a second Premier League title in three seasons and to add to their string of Cup triumphs. With new manager Manuel Pellegrini in charge, the message was clear - score goals, play beautiful football and bring silverware back to the Etihad Stadium.
