Durham native Matt Baker, known for co-presenting `Countryfile', sets out to explore the north east with his mum Janice, dad Mike, and their refurbished family caravan. Across four episodes, the family explore some of the most interesting historical and cultural sites that the region has to offer, including Beamish museum, Bamburgh castle and Durham cathedral. The trip also gives the trio a welcome break from the hard work of farm life, and an opportunity to make new memories as they spend quality time together.
