Kinji Ninomiya's life is all set up; he has a stable income and a great apartment, allowing him to live the rest of his life without doing any work at all; his dreams have come true -- until a mysterious portal transfers him to a foreign world.

Though Kinji's plan to make easy money ultimately fails, the revenue he generates during his temporary success is noticed by his superiors; Kinji and Wanibe are transferred to a more dangerous division, to do a job for which they are unqualified.
