Yook Dong-joo, an aspiring writer, claims a car accident victim's manuscript as his own in order to achieve popularity. However, everything changes when the boy Dong-joo hit regains consciousness.

Guilt traps Yook Dong-joo as he fears Kang San uncovering his secret. As the investigation progresses, the parallels between the murder cases and the missing people get clearer.

When Kang San visits the site of the accident, he comes across a mysterious boy and follows him. Hyeon-soo asks Dong-joo about his motivation to write the novel.

Hyun-soo tells Dong-joo that the murders in his novels are happening in real life, which Dong-joo's sceptical at first. Meanwhile, Byung-man asks Assemblyman Byun about the murder case from 27 years ago.

When Dong-joo visits his high school principal, he notices a photograph of a man who resembles Kang Su. Kang Su makes an unexpected revelation to Dong-joo as his memories slowly return.

Dong-joo uncovers the connection between Kang Su and his father. No Myeong-nam kidnaps assemblyman Byeon's daughter and demands him to confess his deeds.
