In the dark recesses of a dusty red brick Victorian building in Newcastle's city centre lies the mummy of an Egyptian Man who died thousands of years ago. His strong jaw and noble brow have been perfectly preserved for eternity. There's only one catch: before he was mummified, the man was bludgeoned, then garroted and only his head survives. All over the UK the number of ancient mummy-related crimes are on the rise. Can the newly formed Mummy Research Team at York University use state-of-the-art science to solve these ancient cases?
