My Life On The Farm

10 year-old Amira lives on her grandfather's farm. She lives there with her whole extended family live, all twenty of them! They're all very busy at the moment because the heavy rain has damaged the crops of tomatoes and green beans. They have to be picked and sorted before being sold at the wholesale markets.

Dermot lives on an Australian farm called Idalia. It's a ranch and it's so huge and isolated that it takes a whole day just to get around it. Knowing how to drive is a top priority "down under".

Jake is 10 and lives on a ranch in Texas. Here there are over 500 head of cattle roaming the range. With his cowboy hat and chaps, Jake will help us discover what life is like on a Texas ranch. We will feed and care for the herd of cattle.

Khan is 10 and takes us on a visit of his farm in the Mekong delta. Khan looks after the farm's animals every day, from the usual to the not-so-usual ones, like fighting roosters, boa constrictors and crocodiles! When he's finished with the animals, Khan lends his parents a helping hand with the daily chores, as they head off to sell their produce at the floating markets of Long Xuyen.
