This reality series follows privileged 15-year-olds, usually girls but there is an occasional guy featured, and their friends as they obsessively plan their Sweet 16 parties. Most of the parties seen on the show almost invariably feature an orgy of conspicuous consumerism excess. Episodes capture all of the tantrums, flashy presents and elaborate invitations.
