Nomad Chef
Chef Jock Zonfrillo sets out to learn how to cook in ways that different cultures do in this programme that features him visiting some of the world's most remote communities. He lives with the indigenous people at each stop on his journey - hunting, harvesting and foraging alongside them to get ingredients for locally inspired dishes. After learning from the locals how to make some of their foods, Zonfrillo returns to his Australian restaurant to pay homage to the dishes by reinventing the signature recipes he learned in an attempt to give his seen-it-all-before customers something new to try. Lichen soup and reindeer blood sausage are among the delicacies on the menu.
