Nicky becomes disenchanted with politics, Mary and Tosker's marriage falters and Geordie gets a new job with a Soho pornographer.

Geordie is the king of Soho strip clubs, Nicky becomes an anarchist and Tosker and Geordie share a night that will change their lives forever.

In 1970, Geordie and Nicky meet in London, but they are both trailed by the police. Tosker expands his business and Mary moves into politics.

Nicky helps Eddie Wells fulfil a dream, Mary and Tosker's careers divide them and Geordie seeks revenge.

Tosker's business succeeds, Mary becomes a lawyer, Nicky is a candidate for Parliament and Geordie sells drugs.
