This episode meets Peaches and her mum Sue. Peaches, who's 15, is a national ice-skating champion. As a hard-working single mum, Sue has hardly ever seen Peaches skate.

Natashia, who's 17, is a carer for her mum Kerry and her six siblings. Kerry has suffered from depression since she was a girl, but now Natashia needs to get on with her own life.
