Ash is passionate about protecting India's only ape: the hoolock gibbon. Spending most of their lives in the canopy and rarely coming to ground means their populations are hugely threatened by deforestation, with their population decreasing by 90 per cent in just 30 years. Four years ago, Ashwika travelled to Assam and met a gibbon that touched her heart, and from that moment on she has wanted to protect them.

Erin Ranney is a wildlife camera operator and adventurer. She splits her time between Alaska and the Falklands and loves filming the planet's most incredible wildlife. Erin's mission is to film rockhopper penguins on the Falkland Islands.

Jahawi is an underwater camera operator who is passionate about preserving the coastline of Kenya, his home country. The ocean is home to a whole host of marine wildlife, but one species here is particularly under threat: dolphins.

Megan is a wildlife expert who campaigns for animal rights and has a passion for shark conservation. Her mission is to look into the threats facing sharks in British waters and around the globe, from the deadly fin trade to industrial fishing.

Malaika is a wildlife film-maker and conservationist. Growing up in India inspired her to want to save the wildlife on her doorstep. She has always been fascinated by elephants and her mission is to investigate why these animals are in danger.

Environmentalist Jack has made films since he was very young. More recently he has thrown himself into climate change activism. His mission is to investigate the growing but sometimes controversial movement to rewild Britain.
