This eight-part series from W follows five novice dance couples as they prepare to dance competitively for the very first time. Over three months, the budding dancers master six classic ballroom and Latin routines, including the samba, jive, cha cha cha, and the quickstep. The couples, some experienced and others complete novices, compete against each other every fortnight in show-stopping outfits. The series follows what happens when ordinary people exchange their everyday lives for the glitz, sequins and pressure of the competitive Sunday circuit.
