Peter and Elroy are starting their archaeological excavation at Runestone Hill. They also meet Darwin who takes them to the cemetery where his grandfather is buried.
While the excavation continues Peter and Elroy go back to their investigation to clear Olof's name. They meet a Native American professor who gives them some new knowledge about the history of the area and his tribe.
With a lot of leads to follow, they go to the East Coast to see more stone engravings that could provide answers and evidence. They meet with historian Sturla Ellingvåg who takes them to find a viking trade site.
They finally get to see the famous Maine Penny and their visit to the Maine State Museum opens their minds to new possibilities. Afterwards they meet anthropologist Harald Prins.
After an intense search for more tangible evidence Peter and Elroy choose a new direction. Each artifact leads them deeper into a web of mysterious symbols and conspiracies.
With the East Coast adventure slowly coming to an end Peter and Elroy contemplate what they have found and learnt throughout the journey. A new plan starts to form.
