The Ice Cream Girls

After 17 years away, Serena returns to her hometown where memories resurface of the affair she had as a teenager with her teacher, which was brought to an end by his brutal murder. Meanwhile, Poppy is released from prison and returns to the same town having served 17 years for that crime. Still vehemently denying her guilt, Poppy vows to track down Serena and find out what really happened on that fateful night.

With Poppy out of prison and seeking revenge, Serena tries to block out the disturbing memories from her past. Feeling excluded and alone, Poppy is still determined to get the truth from Serena. When lifeguard Al finally persuades Poppy to join him for a coffee, she relents and begins to open up to him - but is Al as trustworthy as he appears?

When Poppy is arrested for approaching Serena, she hits an all time low, Serena's life also takes an unexpected turn for the worse when her identity as the second ice cream girl is exposed to Evan. Devastated by his wife's betrayal, Evan leaves taking Vee with him and with nothing left to lose, Serena decides it is time to confront the past once and for all.
