The Lie: Murder In Suburbia

Telling the story of how Rachel's mother found her daughter's body shortly after she failed to pick up her son from nursery. Even from the outset, there was something about the crime scene that didn't feel right. And as the investigation progressed, everything pointed to Rachel's husband, Joe, being the killer.

When the case came to trial, the courtroom heard revelation after revelation, each more shocking than the last. Rachel's family came to court every day, even when it meant sitting through painful testimony from the pathologist on how Rachel must have seen whoever was trying to kill her. Emails that Joe sent to his sister were also read out in court, revealing what he had really thought of his wife, and why he might have wanted her dead.
