The Shipman Files: A Very British Crime Story
The story of Greater Manchester GP Harold Shipman, who in 1998 was discovered to have been killing his patients. A murder inquiry was sparked following the death of Kathleen Grundy, who had apparently died of old age, but was later found to have been administered a lethal dose of diamorphine. As the police took a closer look at other recent deaths amongst Shipman's patients, they identified 15 murders, and suspected many more. In this documentary, film-maker Chris Wilson looks back on the case, which biggest murder trial in British history.
