Jez has been unemployed for two years since leaving school, but has been busy preparing for his quest to land on Planet Pop.

Creating the Buzz
It's the morning after the gig the night before and Jez is in bed with Fiona who, after some splendid naked guitar playing, is being considered for the band.
EPISODE 3
The A&R Man Cometh
Three fruitless months of gigging have gone by without a sniff of a record deal. Jez and Fiona take Art to task, and he arranges a showcase for Jocks Wa Hey.
EPISODE 4
Sign on the Line
Jocks Wa Hey arrive in London en masse to be met by Art, before doing a deal with Slick Sloan and launching themselves on the London media scene.
EPISODE 5
Making Tracks
The band arrive at Big Noise Studios to record at the farmhouse of rock legend Derek Trout. Joe undertakes Psycho's sexual tuition personally, and Jez tries it on again with Fiona.
EPISODE 6
Shifting the Units
The band's promotional schedule is revving up with a chaotic appearance on a kids' Saturday morning TV show, as the tensions within the band become all too clear.
