Rheneas is excited to find out that there are Christmas trees on Misty Island and wants to bring one back to the quarry to surprise the other engines.  With the help of the Logging Locos, Toby and Rheneas take back the best tree of all!

No one knows who is taking the Steamies' Christmas decorations from Tidmouth Sheds, until Percy discovers Diesel 10 stealing them!

The Fat Controller is playing Santa at the Ulfstead Castle Christmas Fair and Thomas is sent to bring a real sleigh for him to ride in. When the sleigh slips down the hill, carrying the Fat Controller, Thomas speeds to the rescue!

It is Christmas Eve and the engines have to work together to clear the tracks of snow and get the passengers home in time for Christmas.

Cranky drops a very important Christmas parcel when unloading a ship. Upon hearing it rattle, he thinks it must be broken and tries to hide it. The Fat Controller does not give up so easily and, with the help of Salty and Thomas, the parcel is soon discovered along with a surprise for Thomas - and Cranky too!

Diesel is not very helpful and at Christmas, when there is so much extra work to be done, his unhelpfulness is unwelcome and unkind. Over a few days, Diesel is visited by what appear to be 'ghostly engines'. They remind him just how unhelpful he has been in the past, the joy of helping others and the danger that, if you don't help others, they may not help you when you really need them.
