Tried and Tasted: The Ultimate Shopping List
Two-star Michelin chef Michel Roux Jr. of the restaurant Le Gavroche is joined by a panel of food experts in a quest to find the best of Britain's favourite foods.The panellists will try a diverse range of food items and brands, both expensive and for those on a budget, and to ensure impartiality they will sample the items blindfolded as they go past on a conveyer belt. Having found the best versions of each item, the cameras go to where they are produced to show how they are made and what it is that sets them apart from the rest. At the end of the series, the most delicious products are put on the "Ultimate Shopping List" so shoppers know exactly which versions to buy next time they go to the supermarket.
