One night in 1997, the police raid the house where Federico Scotta lives with his family. His two children are immediately taken away from him, as Federico is accused of being part of a paedophilia network.
The paedophilia network seems to be growing when children tell of being forced to take part in satanic rituals in a cemetery. The community is in shock when they learn that the local priest is allegedly in charge.
The trial begins in Modena. Testimonies of the children and medical reports prove the guilt of the cultists. All the accused are sentenced to long prison terms. It is only years later that journalist Pablo Trincia begins his investigation.
After a long research, Pablo Trincia's podcast comes out in October 2017. He calls the whole thing into question as a result of new and alarming discoveries. The media jumps on the case again and the whole community is once again turned upside down.
New and disturbing discoveries confirm Trincia's theory. Meanwhile, a disturbing case comes to light in the municipality of Bibbiano. Several social workers are questioned after taking children away from their families.
