Shirley Murdock

Shirley Murdock built up her entertainment career by putting her musical skills to use in the world of Hollywood. In 1986, she released the hit R&B song "As We Lay." In 1986, she performed vocals on the hit Zapp & Roger song "Computer Love." Murdock's music was featured in "Menace II Society" (1993) with Tyrin Turner. Her music was also used in the Eminem blockbuster dramatic musical "8 Mile" (2002). Murdock's music was most recently featured in the O'Shea Jackson Jr. smash hit musical drama "Straight Outta Compton" (2015).
