Assi Dayan

Assaf Dayan worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Dayan began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "A Walk With Love and Death" (1969), "La Promesse de l'aube" (1970) and "Hetzi-Hetzi" (1971). He also appeared in the Richard Widmark thriller "The Sell Out" (1976), "Entebbe: Operation Thunderbolt" (1977) and "Uranium Conspiracy" (1978). Dayan was nominated for a New Star Of The Year - Actor Golden Globe Award in 1970. In the eighties, Dayan devoted his time to various credits, such as "Melech Leyom Echad" (1980), "Bekhinath Bagruth" (1983) and "Banoth" (1985) starring Hanna Azulai. He also worked on "Me'Achorei Hasoragim" (1985). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Devarim" (1995) with Amos Gitai, "The 92 Minutes of Mr. Baum" (1997) and the Mosku Alkaly drama "No Names on the Doors" (1997). Dayan last wrote "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn" (2014) with Robin Williams. Dayan passed away in May 2014 at the age of 69.
