Belinda Bauer was an actress who founded her entertainment career success with roles in film. Bauer kickstarted her acting career with films like "American Success Company" (1979) with Jeff Bridges and Belinda Bauer and "Flashdance" (1983) with Jennifer Beals. She additionally landed roles in the TV movies "The Archer: Fugitive From the Empire" (NBC, 1980-81) and "The Sins of Dorian Gray" (ABC, 1982-83). She continued to act in productions like the Donald Sutherland mystery thriller "The Rosary Murders" (1987), the Weird Al Yankovic comedy "UHF" (1989) and the Gary Busey action movie "Act of Piracy" (1990). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Starcrossed" (ABC, 1984-85). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the Alyssa Milano drama sequel "POISON IVY II: Lily" (1995). She also was featured in the TV movies "Dean R. Koontz's Servants of Twilight" (Showtime, 1991-92) and "A Case For Murder" (USA, 1992-93). Most recently, Bauer wrote the suspenseful mystery "Happy Now" (2002) with Ioan Gruffudd.
