Hilde Van Mieghem was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Mieghem's career in acting began with her roles in various films like the drama "De Witte Waan" (1983) with Thom Hoffman, "Blond Dolly" (1987) and "Laura Ley" (1989). She also appeared in the drama "Toute une nuit" (1989) with Angelo Abazoglou and "Sailors Don't Cry" (1990). Her film career continued throughout the nineties and the early 2000s in productions like "Kafka" (1991) with Jeremy Irons, "Hombres Complicados" (1997) and the Heino Ferch comedy "Four for Venice" (1998). She also appeared in "En vacances" (2000) with Luc Picard and "Der Alte Affe Angst" (2003) with Andre Hennicke.
