海登·瓦爾希
Hynden Walch has had a strong stage, screen, and voice-over career--but she is most famous for the latter, having been a mainstay on children's shows during the 2000s. After graduating from both North Carolina School of the Arts and UCLA summa cum laude, Walch hit the Broadway stage, where she won acclaim for her performance in the title role in "The Rise and Fall of Little Voice." She found her way into television and films in the early 1990s, with roles as a bride-to-be in the beloved Bill Murray comedy "Groundhog Day" and as mob wife Mae Capone in the Mafia series "The Untouchables." Her remarkable vocal abilities soon found her work in animation, where brief parts on series like "The Powerpuff Girls" gave way to steady roles on "Stanley," which followed the workings of a little boy's imagination; and the Nickelodeon series "Chalkzone," where she voiced the main character's best friend, Penny, as they doodled their way through adventures with a magic piece of chalk. Hynden's biggest voice-over part was on the DC Comics teen superhero adaptation "Teen Titans," where her work as Starfire brought the actress legions of fans. Meanwhile, she punctuated her voice career with in-the-flesh roles, as witchcraft shop owner Marcie Steadwell on the WB series "Charmed" and as the mother of a bullied child in the Owen Wilson kids' comedy "Drillbit Taylor."
