P.J. Byrne

Actor P.J. Byrne found his double majors in finance and theater at Boston College collide when he was cast in Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street" in 2013. The New Jersey native, who is of both Italian and Irish descent, went on to earn an MFA in theater at Chicago's DePaul University. Byrne began his career with small roles in some big films. He was featured in two Jim Carrey movies, the hit "Bruce Almighty" (2003) and the poorly-reviewed "Fun with Dick and Jane" (2005). After a period spent working mostly in television guest roles, Byrne's big-screen fortunes rose with more substantial roles in films like the black comedy "Horrible Bosses" (2011), the Steve Carell-starring remake of a French hit, "Dinner for Schmucks" and as one of the leads in the franchise horror movie "Final Destination 5" (2011) before getting cast in the 1990s period piece "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013). During this period, Byrne also lent his voice to the character of Bolin on the animated drama "The Legend of Korra" (Nickelodeon 2012-).
