Un café sans musique c'est rare à Paris
In the middle of a Parisian night stands a young woman with a suitcase. Nobody knows who she is, or where she comes from. “Strangers seem to know you best”, Anna answers to the question of a tourist, who thinks he recognizes her as an old friend. This is how Anna's journey through the city begins. Or is it rather the city, that takes her by the hand and guides her through Paris at night, to strange encounters and into confusing situations? On her journey, Anna will slip into the different roles of a woman's life; an acquaintance, a daughter and mother, but never herself. But one day, she is suddenly faced by herself. It is the portrait of a metropolis and of a modern woman — in search of identity.
