Jennifer Stone

Although she was only six years old at the time, Jennifer Stone developed an early passion for acting after seeing her brother act in plays in her hometown of Arlington, Texas. After a few years she not only managed to land the lead in several productions, but Stone also signed with a theatrical agent when she was eight years old. Initially, Stone started doing voice-over work and appearing in television commercials. By 2003, however, she landed her very first feature role in the family drama, "Secondhand Lions." Stone played Robert Duvall's niece in the film, and earned a Young Artist Award nomination in the process. Throughout the mid 2000s Stone appeared in a series of guest-starring roles on several notable television shows, including the dramas "Line of Fire " and "Without a Trace," as well as the medical drama "House M.D.," which earned Stone her second Young Artist Award nomination. Stone's big break came in February of 2007, when she joined Selena Gomez and David Henrie as a cast-member on the comedy "Wizards of Waverly Place." In 2009 Stone also appeared in an Emmy Award-winning made-for-TV movie adaptation of the series, aptly titled "Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie," and has appeared as the socially awkward Abby Hanover in 2011's "Mean Girls 2."
