Full Throttle
It is Hong Kong in the nineties. Joe has lacked self-confidence since his mother's death. In order to get relief from the pain, he participates in illegal motorbike racing. He also challenges the riders employed by his father against whom he takes out his anger. Besides, he intends to go for open competitions. But he is unable to find a sponsor because people do not want to offend his father. The father and son relationship deteriorates. Joe gets to know Kwan David, a rider back from abroad. They are friends and enemies at the same time. Joe's girlfriend Yee, cohabiting with Joe for years, strongly objects to his partaking in bike racing, leading to a lot of quarrels. Seriously injured in a race, Joe is scared of riding a motorbike. His good friend Ka-lok tries to save face for Joe by proposing a contest with David. Unfortunately, Ka-lok loses his life in an accident. Joe comes out and challenges David. He asks his father for assistance. Their relationship is thus restored. A small accident occurs, bringing Joe and David a brand new experience of life. The race does not finish. Urged by David, Joe heads for his favourite, Yee.
