Contestants are challenged by former contestants, Poh, Callum and Reynold. These successful former contestants want the current crop to create a dish worthy of a place on their restaurant menus.
Amateur cooks from around Australia compete in a series of unique challenges judged by culinary experts and world famous chefs. All in the hope of being crowned the best amateur chef in Australia.
The participants have to choose from potato, broccoli, carrot, yellow onion or courgette to make a dish. The dish does not necessarily have to be vegetarian, but must use the vegetable of your choice.
The winners of the previous challenge meet in the kitchen for a lesson in cooking with fire.
