All American High Revisited
When filmmaker Keva Rosenfeld spent a year in an American high school in 1984, he captured not only an era bursting with neon fashion, punk posing and Princess Di hair-dos, but a group of individuals at the cusp of their adult lives. Fast-forward three decades and the time capsule is unlocked as the same senior class look back at their former teen selves. Reflecting on high school experiences and the journeys they’ve taken since then, their memories are fond, sometimes bittersweet, and often surprising. As the ringing school bell takes them back, a history lesson like no other unveils both what has changed and what has stood the test of time in this insightful and heart-warming documentary, thirty years in the making.
