In the early years of Song Dynasty, the Khitan invaded the Song Dynasty and the two became mortal enemies. Qiao Feng, the leader of the Gai(Beggar's Sect), a gang whose members are all alleged to be Song people, was found to be a Khitan. He was accused of killing the gang deputy leader in order to cover up the scandal, causing rages from the community. Kung Fu masters gathered at the Ju Xian Village to oppose this rival. Qiao fell in love with Zhu, a girl who was seriously injured. Qiao risked his own life to save Zhu and he showed up at the village to help. Qiao insisted that he was innocent, but no one believed him. Only Zhu trusted him and accompanied as he embarked on a journey of seeking the truth, but she was misled by a rumor that Qiao was going to seek revenge and kill her father, Prince Duan. Zhu didn't want any of them to get hurt and she eventually sacrificed herself. Qiao grieved for Zhu's death and agreed to take care of her sister Zi. In the end, the truth came to light, but instead of returning to Gai, Qiao left with Zi to start over in life...
