Stonado

As threatening twisters begin to swirl in the waters south of Boston, former storm chaser Joe Randall (Paul Johansson, One Tree Hill) quickly realises this is no ordinary storm. While the vicious weather moves inland, the citizens of Boston find themselves trapped in a tempest turning deadlier by the minute. Joe and his companions realise they’re dealing with a never-before-seen phenomenon known as Stonado and that their only chance to stop the storm destroying everything in its path is an untested and dangerous theory involving weather manipulation. As the skies unleash chaos, destruction spreads and family members are plunged into peril, the crew are left with no choice but to test the theory; either saving the world, or accelerating its destruction.
