The Decline of Western Civilization: Part III

Part three of Penelope Spheeris' Decline of Western Civilization trilogy is a social commentary of the true punk aesthetic. The film focuses on the lives of Los Angeles 'gutter punks' - homeless teenagers who prefer anarchy and chaos to organized society. Coming from abusive homes, many of the film's subjects have developed drugs and alcohol problems and struggle to survive on the tough LA streets. A fitting final chapter in the Decline trilogy, the film includes performances by Final Conflict, Litmus Green, Naked Aggression and The Resistance.
