Condemned to stay inside Paris's Notre Dame Cathedral by his evil guardian Frollo, Quasimodo the hunchbacked bell-ringer longs to see the outside world. One day he escapes and meets the beautiful gypsy dancer Esmerelda, and his life is never the same again.
