Judith Farrow, a lonely civil servant, is sent to work in the Caribbean. There, she falls for the dashing Feodor Sverdlov whose romancing is a cover for his activities as a Russian agent. He tries to persuade her to reveal her secrets, she desists and his love for her overcomes his political beliefs. However, unknown to both, a British spy plans to terminate the two lovers.
