Two sisters, Blanche and `Baby Jane' Hudson are ageing former movie stars who live together in a decaying Hollywood mansion. When the last of their domestic staff is finally dismissed, Blanche is left at the mercy of the alcoholic, increasingly demented and sadistic Jane.
