A. I. Bezzerides

Hard-hitting, noir-oriented scenarist. Bezzerides provided the novel basis for a couple of films and his most notable screenplay is for the deft, relentless adaptation of Mickey Spillane's crackling private dick tale, "Kiss Me Deadly" (1955).
