Amy Rider

An attractive young Asian-American actress, Amy Rider got her start in 2005 as Kelly on the web-only "24" spin-off series, "24: Conspiracy." While the online show was a short-lived one, Rider's role gained her some positive notices, and following its cancellation she garnered a small role in the indie action film "The Hitman Chronicles," as well as guest appearances on the popular TV shows "Without a Trace" and "Veronica Mars." Rider's big break came in 2008 with two projects; she was cast as Toyoka in the indie romantic comedy "Kissing Cousins," directed by Amyn Kaderali. She also landed her most well known role, as Alice Valko, the charmingly geeky, platonic best friend of the male lead on the popular ABC Family series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager." In 2010 Rider co-starred in another indie action movie, "Kill Speed," alongside Andrew Keegan, Nick Carter, and Tom Arnold.
