Ian Brady was born in the 1930s into a life of poverty in the slums of Glasgow, but at the age of nine, he visits Loch Lomond and returns home determined to take a different path in life from everyone else by setting out on a life of crime.
Ian Brady moves to Manchester where he meets Myra Hindley. Brady and Hindley enact his sexual fantasies and make plans about committing a murder. They prowl the streets of Greater Manchester looking for their first victim.
Ian Brady's ego becomes his downfall as he expands his cult whilst killing his fifth victim. He is arrested and spends the rest of his life behind bars, but continues to wield control over everyone and everything in his life.
