Danganronpa: The Animation

Makoto Naegi gets a lucky break and enters the highly prestigious school Hope's Peak, but things soon take a turn for the worse when he learns the school's sinister purpose.

Sayaka fears someone is after her and Makoto agrees to switch rooms with her, but the next day, tragedy strikes.

The classroom trial begins as the students put forward their theories; Monokuma puts high stakes on the students finding the correct killer.

The pool and locker rooms on the second floor open up and Monokuma allows the students a few days to explore; they are given 24 hours to kill someone, or he'll broadcast their most sinister or embarrassing secrets.

Togami insists that the perpetrator must be a depraved serial killer, but his motives are questionable; tensions begin to rise as some of the students' darkest secrets are revealed.

Asahina discovers ALTER EGO, an AI created by Fujisaki; both Ishimaru and Yamada are taken with the programme, but neither boy is keen to share.
