Mademoiselle Zazie

Zazie has two best friends, Abigail and Cindy, but Abigail demands that she can only have one. Pedro spots their teacher at the beach! The kids think she must be there to teach them on their day off. Poor Cindy has lice and Zazie is determined to help!

Zazie is upset that her father is pulling weeds out of the garden. She wants to find a place for the pretty weeds to grow too. Fed up with bullies, Alfredo and Clodomir, Zazie and her friends make them believe a monster is running wild on the beach. Max has it in his head that boys should give girls presents, but Zazie dislikes girlie gifts!

In order to escape her chores and make it to a basketball game, Max comes up with an elaborate plan to help Zazie distract her mom. Is this a "Mission Impossible"? Pedro breaks Uncle Mike's Hawaiian tribal statue. Can Zazie repair it before Uncle Mike finds out? Max is sad to learn his friends are going away for the summer holiday.

Cindy fibs that her missing Dad is a super-secret agent. Her secret rapidly spreads. Max and Zazie spy on Uncle Mike and Zazie's Mom when they think they are in love. After Uncle Mike explains that a seagull should not be trapped in a cage, Zazie and her friends decide to liberate a fish from its bowl and return him to the sea.

Max is distraught when Zazie says she wants to be a basketball star when she grows up. He does not want her to move to America! Someone has vandalized the rock area with horrible graffiti! Zazie insists they find the culprits. Zazie and her friends help a kid who is an only child find brothers or sisters to play with.

After Uncle Mike jokingly mentions the existence of a sand-castle-eating monster, Pedro is woken up by terrible "roars." Pedro takes credit for his Grandpa's trophies but finds himself in trouble when he has to prove his talents. Zazie falls in love with a broken doll. After the other kids tease her, Zazie organizes a race for battered toys.
