Monty Halls' Dive Mysteries
Explorer and marine biologist Monty Halls goes in search of the real stories behind some of the world's greatest underwater mysteries. The first of four one-hour programmes finds Hall and a team of divers in Namibia in southwest Africa to look for a safe, dumped by the retreating German army during World War I, reputed to contain £60 million worth of gold. The second instalment takes place in Egypt, where Hall and his team investigate why so many divers have lost their lives in the Blue Hole, said to be the most dangerous dive site on earth. The Blue Hole is situated on the Red Sea coast.
