Available on discovery+
Decorated New York police Detective Ralph Friedman was responsible for thousands of arrests during his career, which began in the Bronx's infamous 41st Precinct -- dubbed `Ft. Apache' -- during the city's turbulent 1970s. Taking viewers along, Friedman looks back at many of those days filled with life-threatening cases, from seemingly unsolvable murders to undercover busts and deadly shootouts in broad daylight. He was commemorated with 219 awards for his efforts, including the department's second-highest honour: The Police Combat Cross.
